"Let's go to the park!" she said.

Biff, Chip, Kipper and Floppy went to the park with Gran.

In the park Biff spotted a stone with a hole in it.
spot means see or find 看見或者發現
hole 洞，with a hole 有個洞
在公園裡，Biff 發現了一塊有洞的石頭。
"From now on this is my lucky stone," she said with a big grin.

She did a handstand.
她做了一個倒立。handstand 倒立，從字面就很好理解，hand 手 stand 站立，用手站立，那就是 「倒立」 了。

比如說，

lost 就是 「丟失/遺失」 的意思
這裡用 have lost 表示 「丟了」，而且對現在造成影響了，Biff 呀，現在想要去尋找那塊石頭。
"Did you drop it?" said Chip.
Chip 說：你是不是把它掉在某個地方了？
"I must have," said Biff with a frown.
frown 皺眉頭，said with a frown 皺著眉頭說
Biff 皺了皺眉頭說：我一定是（把它掉在某個地方了）。

hunt means find, look for 尋找
他們跑回去尋找那塊石頭。
Chip had a look under shrub.
shrub 我們昨天說過了，是灌木叢
Chip 看了看灌木下面。
What's in the shrub?
There is a rubbit and a ball.
But there is no lucky stone.
"Now I am all dirty!" he said.
他說：現在我渾身髒兮兮的。

"Oh no!" he said. "A branch has torn my shirt!"
tear/torn 是 「撕破/劃破」 的意思

"Ow!" she said. "A stinging nettle! I have been stung!"
stinging nettle 蕁麻，been stung 被刺到了
