無聊的時候你會做什麼？看電視、打遊戲、刷抖音還是其他的一些活動呢？不管是哪一樣，「我很無聊」可千萬不要說成"l'm so boring"，為什麼，其實很多朋友應該都學過。

"boring"意思是「乏味的、無聊的」，意思是真的沒有錯，但是不能用"l'm so boring"的原因在於"boring"只能用於物體和事物，而正確的表達應該是"l'm so bored"，"bored"用來形容人。

想到將要無所事事，他就非常害怕。

I'm bored to death

按照字面翻即可，「無聊透頂、無聊死了」。"I'm dying of boredom"也是表示相同的意思。

例句：

My life is only Arena Of Valor，I'm bored to death.

我的生活只有王者榮耀，我都快無聊死了。

Mom and dad are not at home, I a person bored to death.

爸爸媽媽都不在家，我一個人無聊死了。

monotonous

單調乏味，更傾向於表示毫無變化，而不是無聊。

例句：

She thought life in the small town was monotonous.

她覺得小鎮上的生活單調乏味。

It's monotonous work, like most factory jobs

與工廠大部分工作一樣，這份工作也很單調乏味。

tedious

冗長的無聊，通常指持續了太久而且還沒有樂趣的事。

例句：

If tedious tasks could be eradicated, the world would be a much better place.

如果可以消滅那些單調乏味的工作，世界將會變得更加美好。

Tedious as it is, he finds pleasure in reading the book.

那本書雖然枯燥，他讀起來卻樂在其中。

dull

枯燥無味、沉悶的，沒有激情、也不夠有趣，相比"boring"更帶有點厭惡的感情色彩。

例句：

I dare say you're dull at home.

我敢說你在家裡感到沉悶無聊。

They seek strong sensations to dull their sense of a meaningless existence.

為了沖淡生活毫無意義的感覺，他們追求強烈的刺激。
