Patient是病人，那outpatient和inpatient分別是啥？很簡單哦！

「outpatient」和「inpatient」分別是啥？
話不多說，直接上英文解釋。
An outpatient is someone who receives treatment at a hospital but does not spend the night there. While an inpatient is the opposite.
可以看出inpatient和outpatient互為反義詞（差點嘴一快說成了互為相反數了）。
outpatient，表示在醫院接受了治療，然後直接就回家；
inpatient，是在醫院接受治療，但是需要住院（stay in the hospital/spend the night）。
因此，outpatient clinic叫做門診部，inpatient service就是住院服務。
「探望時間」英語咋說？
如果你的朋友需要住院stay in the hospital，也就是一個inpatient，那出於「人道主義」以及「友情之光」，你當然得去探視一下。
探視病人最簡單的表達可以用visit a patient，那探視時間你能猜出來嗎？
對啦，你可以直接說visiting hours或者visiting time，表示探望時間。

「出院」英語咋說？
住院住久了，治好了，當然得出院了。不過，出院我們不說get out of the hospital，有一個比較簡潔的詞叫做discharge。
Discharge的搭配場景：
When someone is discharged from hospital, prison, or one of the armed services, they are officially allowed to leave, or told that they must leave.
所以discharge可以表示出獄，退役，也可以表示從監獄服刑出來。
