釋義：

開車闖過紅燈(表示停車的信號)
例句：

他因為在市內最繁忙的一個十字路口闖紅燈而被警察攔下。
還有一種情況，比如看到左右都沒有車，直接過馬路。這個時候是用jump the light(s)表示，這裡的 jump 表示忽略的意思，忽略了禁止讓他通行的燈。
