一些單詞單獨是一種意思

在英語口語中，短語for a song表示「特別便宜」
Jim bought a computer for a song last week.
吉姆上個星期買的電腦特別便宜。
A: Mrs.Smith bought a lot of clothes for a song.
史密斯夫人買了好多衣服，都特別便宜。
B: Well,she really is a good bargainer.
嗯，她真的很能砍價。
在形容某種物品「一文不值」時
可以用短語not worth a penny
相關詞彙：

買一送一
意思是「以一件物品的價格買了兩件商品」，就相當於「買一送一」
This shampoo is on a two-for-one sale.
這種洗髮水買一送一。
A: There is a two-for-one offer at the nearby supermarket.
附近的超市正在舉行買一送一活動。
B: It's really a good chance.
這真是一個好機會。
「買一送一」還可以說成「buy one get one free」

在表示「打幾折」時，中英文中的數字是不一樣的
