賓語從句

如果一個句子充當賓語，稱為賓語從句。其主要句型結構如下：

1. 動詞+that引導的從句

常用動詞有hope, hear, see, know,think, believe, agree, feel, find, guess, mean, promise, learn等。例如：

I hope that you will enjoy our performance.

我希望你會喜歡我的演出。

I think that the new science fiction film is interesting.

我認為那部新的科幻片很有趣。

He learnt that David would come to China with his family soon.

他得知戴維不久將和他全家來中國。

Do you believe that Li Ying will win a prize for her painting?

你認識李英的畫會得獎嗎?

2. 動詞+間接賓語+that從句

常用動詞有tell, explain等。例如：

He told us that the score was 2 to 1.

他告訴我們比分為2比1。

She explained to me that she had come to find a book.

她向我解釋她來找一本書。

3.動詞+（間接賓語）+wh疑問詞引導的賓語從句

常用動詞有know, wonder, ask, tell, decide, find out等。例如：

I don't know what his new telephone number is.

我不知道他的新電話號碼是什麼。

He wondered why she had asked for leave that day.

他不知道她那天為什麼請假。

They haven't decided where they are going to spend the weekends.

他們還未決定他們準備去哪兒度周末。

She didn't tell me who had brought me the flowers.

她沒告訴我誰給我送來花。

4.be+形容詞+that從句

常用形容詞有sure, afraid, happy,surprised等。例如：

I'm sure that the match between the two teams will be exciting.

我確信兩個隊之間的比賽將會很激動人心。

He'd never been in a class before and he was not even sure that he should have been teaching.

他以前從未教過課，甚至不確定自己該不該教課。

I'm afraid that he won't be chosen as a top student.

恐怕他不會被選為優等生。

He was happy that he had got an A for his English.

他很高興他英語得A。

She was surprised that he had no words of blame or accusation for her.

使她驚訝的是，他竟然沒有對她說任何怪罪或指責的話。

He was surprised they had married — they had seemed so different.

他倆居然結婚了——這讓他非常驚訝，因為他們實在是太不一樣了。
