一、such的用法
1、such修飾單數名詞，放在a/an前面，若名詞前有one，no，any，some，all，many等修飾時，such放在這些修飾詞之後。
He's such a man. 他就是這麼一個人。
There is no such thing. 沒有這麼一回事。
2、such位於句首，句子倒裝，謂語動詞的單複數根據其後的名詞決定。
Such is my hope for the future. 我對未來的希望就是這樣。
Such were the facts. 事實就是這樣。
3、such……that……句型，用於從句不缺句子成分。
意思是：如此……以至於……
He is such a good teacher that all the students like him.
他是如此好的一個老師，導致所有學生都喜歡他。
上面這句不缺句子成分，所以用that引導。
4、such……as……句型，用於從句缺句子成分。
He is such a good teacher as we expect.
和我們所料的一樣，他是一位好老師。
上面這句的從句缺賓語，所以用as引導。
5、such相關短語1：as such 按照某詞通用的詞義、本身
I can't call my book a best seller as such but it's very popular.我不敢說我的書是暢銷書，但可以說很受歡迎。
Money as such will seldom br ing happiness. 金錢本身很少帶來幸福。
6、such相關的短語2：such as
There are few poets such as Keats and Shelly. 像濟慈和雪萊這樣的詩人現在很少了。
二、also、too、either和as well
1、兩者都有「也」的意思
also 後是中位狀語，放在行為動詞前 (also do)、跟在系動詞後 (be also或夾在助動詞/情態動詞與動詞之間 (如 can also do)。
too 是末位狀語，一般放在一句話的最後。通常用於肯定句或疑問句，一般不用於否定句。
The lady washed the children and also gave them dinner.
那位女士給孩子們洗了澡，還請他們吃飯
He can sing and dance, too.
他又會唱歌又會跳舞。
either(也)通常只用於否定句，且要放在句末。
I don't know, either. 我也不知道。
I am going to London and my sister is going as well。
我要到倫敦去，我妹妹也要去。
三、work與job
work指勞動，job指工作。
I can't work if I'm cold.
我要是覺得冷就幹不了活。
He's trying to get a job.
他正在找工作。
四、silly/stupid/foolish
三個詞都含有「蠢」的意思，但略有不同。stupid 所表達的程度最強，指智力、理解力和學習能力差；silly指頭腦簡單、傻頭傻腦，使人覺得可笑，帶有一定的感情色彩；foolish是普通用語，尤其是在口語中廣泛使用。
He is stupid in learning math.
他學數學很笨。
Stop asking such silly questions.
別再問這樣傻的問題了。
You are foolish to throw away such a good chance.
你真蠢，丟掉這麼好的一個機會。
