Don't go there 是什麼意思?
「not go there」是一句外國人經常說的口語。當別人聊到你的痛點或隱私，你不想繼續聊下去，想結束話題的時候，就可以說You don't go there來表達「你別和我提這個事了，不要再往下聊了」。這個表達有時也會在中間加個even強調一下，not even go there表示「提都別提」。

英文釋義：
US expression used in the New England area (most frequently in Maine) by persons being asked for directions to a far distant location that cannot be accessed without extensive, complicated directions.
美國俚語，常用於新英格蘭地區(尤其緬因州)，用來回復如何去一個根本就無法達到的地方，除非通過一系列複雜的手段。
翻譯成中文大概有兩種方式，1️⃣表達「那地方天涯海角遠著呢……」，就憑我們現在的能力根本到不了。2️⃣表示「這個問題沒法解決」，你沒有明確的工具或者手段你就別想解決這個問題了。

英文釋義：
To be very close to arriving at the location of the listener (or recipient of the message). It typically indicates that one is actively en route, and can be used as a standalone set phrase.
非常接近聽者(或消息接收者)的位置。它通常表明某人正在積極的前往的途中，並且可以作為一個獨立的短語使用。

"put it there" 除了字面上的「放在那兒」的意思之外，在口語中還有一個常見的意思：
You say 'Put it there!' to someone when you are asking them to shake hands with you, because you agree with them or want to congratulate them.
