注意：

咱們很容易將上列句子寫成：

I』ll be there after five minutes.（錯）

I「ll finish it after two hours .（錯）

after five minutes表示」過了5分鐘以後再說「。因此，I』ll be there after five minutes.暗示」5分鐘過了以後，我才會考慮到那裡，至於何時會去，我尚未決定「。而I』ll be there in five minutes.則暗示」5分鐘一過，我就會在那裡出現「。within則表示」在……以內「。

比較：I』ll be there after five minutes.

我5分鐘後會到那裡。

I』ll be there within five minutes.

我5分鐘之內會到那裡。
