「住」的英文是live和stay。

區別是長住、定居用live，比如I live in Beijing with my parents. 我和我爸媽住在北京。

短期住是stay，旅遊、出差時臨時住一下酒店屬於短期的住，就要用stay，stay at a hotel。

stay vs. live

" Stay" only means "remain" or "continue like it is now"

Stay僅表示「保留」或「像現在一樣繼續」
