as if/as though都是“好像”的意思，引导的表语从句或状语从句常用虚拟语气。
1.如果从句表示与现在事实相反，谓语动词用一般过去时。请看例句：
Don't handle the vase as if it were made of steel.
不要这么拿着这个花瓶，就好像它是钢制成的。（与现在的事实相反，注意在虚拟语气中只用were不用was）
2.表示与过去事实相反，谓语动词用had done,请看例句：
She talked about the novel as though she had really read it.
她谈论那部小说就好像她确实看过一样。（与过去的事实相反）
3.表示与将来事实相反，谓语动词用would/might/could+动词原形 请看例句
It looks as it might rain.（as if 引导表语从句，与将来事实相反。）
