hope的用法主要有以下三点：

（1） 跟名词时，后面通常接 for.如：

We hope for peace and freedom.我们希望和平和自由。

（2）后面跟动词不定式。例：

Tom hopes to buy a new house for his family.汤姆希望为家里买一个新房子。

I hope to hear from you soon. 我希望尽快收到你的来信。

（3） 后面跟从句,that 在口语中通常省略。例：

I hope ( that ) all the people in the world live happily . 我希望世界上的所有人都能快乐的生活。

I hope that you will have a wonderful trip. 祝愿你旅途愉快。
