「Mysterious Dujiangyan」 appeared
in Merida, Mexico
當地時間時間1月14日，都江堰市常務副市長李光輝率代表團赴墨西哥梅里達市參加由墨西哥梅里達市政府、成都市人民政府外事辦公室、都江堰市人民政府和墨西哥尤卡坦半島華人華僑聯合會共同舉辦的「2020中國周」——讓世界了解都江堰系列活動。
On Jan. 14 (local time), Li Guanghui, Executive Vice Mayor of Dujiangyan led a delegation to Merida, Mexico for a series of activities of 「2020 China Week」-- Let the world know Dujiangyan, which were jointly held by Government of Merida, Mexico, Foreign Affairs Office of Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, Dujiangyan Municipal People’s Government and Yucatan, Mexico.
在開幕式上，李光輝常務副市長表達了非常榮幸來到有著「美洲文化之都」美譽的墨西哥尤卡坦半島的明珠——梅里達市——中國成都的國際友城參加一年一度的「2020中國周」活動,並向各界來賓介紹了都江堰的城市資源。
On the opening ceremony, Li Guanghui, Executive Vice Mayor, expressed that it was an honor for him to come to Merida of Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, the siter city of Chengdu, China, which was reputed as the 「capital of American culture」, for 「2020 China Week」 activities, and he made an introduction to the city resources of Dujiangyan to guests from all walks of life.
「親戚越走越親，朋友越走越近。這樣相互之間不斷開展文化交流與碰撞，不僅增進了雙方的友誼，更促進了文明的交流與互鑒。」李光輝在致辭中表示，「開放的都江堰前景美好、機遇無限。我們真誠希望與墨西哥的朋友們加強交流、增進友誼，讓世界了解成都、了解都江堰，我們也誠摯邀請大家到都江堰體驗最美東方文化。」
「The continuous cultural exchanges and collisions between the two sides can not only enhance the friendship between the two sides, but also promote the exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, " Mr. Li Guanghui said in his speech, "We sincerely hope to strengthen exchanges and enhance friendship with our Mexican friends so that the world can know more about Chengdu and Dujiangyan. We also sincerely invite you to experience the most beautiful oriental culture in Dujiangyan."

竹簫獨奏《都江憶》將現場觀眾的思緒瞬間帶到了都江堰，身臨其境般感受獨特的川西古堰風光。
The bamboo flute solo 「The Memory of Dujiangyan」 brought the audience's thoughts to Dujiangyan in an instant. People could personally experience the unique scenery of the ancient water conservancy project in western Sichuan.
《拂塵舞》、《芙蓉雨》、《水之靈》、《青城韻》、《好一個都江堰》一個個優美的舞蹈從不同角度展示了都江堰山清水秀、如詩如畫的四季美景。
The dances, such as 「 Horsetail Whisk Dance」,」 Hibiscus Flower Rain」, 「The Spirit of Water」 and」 What a Beautiful Dujiangyan」 showed the picturesque scenery of Dujiangyan in the four seasons from different angles.
《長嘴壺茶藝》、《靜式功夫茶》、《青城太極》又讓觀眾感受了中國道教文化。一陰一陽，在這裡完美融合，將青城山幽靜升華到玄妙的境界。
「Long-Mouth Pot Tea Art」, 「Still Kungfu Tea」 and 「Qingcheng Tai Chi」 make audiences feel Chinese Taoism culture, where Yin and Yang were integrated perfectly to sublime the tranquility of Mt.Qingcheng to the mysterious realm.
川劇《變臉》讓現場的氣氛達到高潮。因為都江堰孕育了天府之國，才有川菜，川酒，以及川劇等豐富的精神文化生活。
Sichuan opera 「Face Changing」 brought the atmosphere of the scene to a climax. Dujiangyan bred the land of abundance, which then produced Sichuan cuisine, Sichuan wine and the rich culture like Sichuan opera.

「太美了，我第一次親身感受到東方的美麗，想不到在中國還有都江堰這麼一個美麗的地方，我聽說這場演出還會持續兩天，我明天還要邀上我的朋友來看，我想他們也一定會愛上你們的城市，說不定我們還會去都江堰旅遊」。梅里達市民阿曼達激動地表達了他對都江堰的喜愛。
「It’s so beautiful; this is my first time to personally feel the oriental culture. It’s hard to believe there is a so wonderful place in China. I heard the performance would last two days, so I will bring my friends to watch the performance; they must also love your city. We may travel Dujiangyan someday」, Amanda, a citizen of Merida expressed his love to Dujiangyan.
