Chinese health authority said Tuesday it received reports of 78 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Monday, of which 74 were imported from abroad.
Also on Monday, seven deaths and 35 new suspected cases were reported on the mainland, with all the deaths in Hubei province, according to the National Health Commission.
當日新增治癒出院病例456例，解除醫學觀察的密切接觸者769人，重症病例減少176例。
A total of 456 patients of the COVID-19 were discharged from hospital Monday on the Chinese mainland, the commission said in its daily report Tuesday.
截至3月23日24時，據31個省（自治區、直轄市）和新疆生產建設兵團報告，現有確診病例4735例（其中重症病例1573例），累計治癒出院病例73159例，累計死亡病例3277例，累計報告確診病例81171例，現有疑似病例132例。累計追蹤到密切接觸者691185人，尚在醫學觀察的密切接觸者12077人。
Altogether 73,159 patients had been discharged from hospital after recovery by the end of Monday.
As of Monday, a total of 81,171 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 had been reported on the mainland, and 3,277 people had died of the disease.
湖北新增確診病例1例（武漢1例），新增治癒出院病例444例（武漢426例），新增死亡病例7例（武漢7例），現有確診病例4318例（武漢4268例），其中重症病例1539例（武漢1527例）。累計治癒出院病例60323例（武漢43214例），累計死亡病例3160例（武漢2524例），累計確診病例67801例（武漢50006例）。新增疑似病例0例（武漢0例），現有疑似病例0例（武漢0例）。
3月23日0—24時，新增報告境外輸入確診病例74例（北京31例，廣東14例，上海9例，福建5例，天津4例，江蘇3例，浙江2例，四川2例，山西、遼寧、山東和重慶各1例）。截至3月23日24時，累計報告境外輸入確診病例427例。
The Chinese mainland reported 74 newly imported cases of the COVID-19 Monday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 427.
Of the 74 newly imported cases, 31 were reported in Beijing, 14 in Guangdong, nine in Shanghai, five in Fujian, four in Tianjin, three in Jiangsu, two in Zhejiang and Sichuan respectively, and one in Shanxi, Liaoning, Shandong and Chongqing respectively, according to the commission.
累計收到港澳台地區通報確診病例576例：香港特別行政區356例（出院101例，死亡4例），澳門特別行政區25例（出院10例），台灣地區195例（出院29例，死亡2例）。
