Once there was a silly little duck who loved to swim in the lake.

从前，有一只傻傻的小鸭子，他喜欢在湖中游泳。

He paddled and dabbled and splashed and dived all day long.

他一整天都在戏水、玩水、潜水。

But one day, gray clouds rolled in and the rain began to fall.

但是有一天，乌云滚滚，开始下雨了。

“Quack!” cried the little duck as he paddled for shore as fast as he could.

“嘎嘎！”小鸭子一边大喊一边尽他最大的速度划着。

“What’s the matter?” called his friends.

“怎么了？”他的朋友问道。

“It’s raining!” said the silly little duck. “I don’t want to get wet!”

“下雨了！”傻傻的小鸭子说。“我不想被淋湿！”
