hope的用法主要有以下三點：

（1） 跟名詞時，後面通常接 for.如：

We hope for peace and freedom.我們希望和平和自由。

（2）後面跟動詞不定式。例：

Tom hopes to buy a new house for his family.湯姆希望為家裡買一個新房子。

I hope to hear from you soon. 我希望儘快收到你的來信。

（3） 後面跟從句,that 在口語中通常省略。例：

I hope ( that ) all the people in the world live happily . 我希望世界上的所有人都能快樂的生活。

I hope that you will have a wonderful trip. 祝願你旅途愉快。
