「What's his face」不是「他的臉是什麼」
「What's his face」不是問你 「他的臉長什麼樣?，而是表示 「他叫什麼名字來著?」，可以理解成「他是那個誰來著?」。字面上也經常會加上連字符作為一個整體寫成 what's-his-face 表示 那個誰。
例：
What's his face, the guy with the yellow shirt?
他叫什麼名字來著，那個穿黃色襯衫的男孩?
And his new girlfriend... what's her face?

「egg on your face」是什麼意思?
