而國外網站用的是 pneumonic [nju(ː)ˈmɒnɪk] (肺的) plague , 的確，國內新聞報道的都是用的肺鼠疫，而不是單單鼠疫，所以嚴謹的來說，應該是pneumonic plague

pneu 或者 pneum 這個前綴的意思是肺，空氣，呼吸的意思。
