說到「窮」的英語單詞，很多人都會想到「poor」，其實呢，就像老外形容「老人」時不用old、用senior一樣，poor這個詞他們也是不太常用的。那麼，在英語中，怎樣形容「窮」呢？
Poor給人一種消極感，所以可以試試更為中性的?struggling（艱難的）或 disadvantaged（弱勢群體的）：

有很多艱難度日的家庭需要我們的幫助。
2、He lived his whole life as a struggling artist and didn't become famous until after his death.
