一九三五春風暖,嘉陵江畔塔山灣;
王渡東河把兵練,蔡家外灘造木船;
突擊戰士沖在前,一舉攻破趙家山;
八廟盤龍東嶽山,席捲殘敵走泥丸;

My Hometown,Mount Cang&River Xi
By/Hu Dakui
Qinlongsuoyue with the Sword Gate in the west
Shubeipingfan gpingfan with the deep valleys and rivers
Green hills and clear water like picturesque scenery
Seasonal good products are nature’s treasures
Jialing river runs slowly the city
On the Nine-bend Steam are beautiful pavilions
Wild geese fiy over Mount Shaoping to the South
Rib arch bridges with rainbows above and ripping water beneat
March spring wind spreads aroma of pear flowers everywhere
The hills are harvested in September
Kiwi fruits with red flesh are people's favorite
With God treasures villagers are healthy anh wealthy
Sweet pears are harvested in September
Fields are filled with golden rice all over the hills
Specially cooked sauerkraut and Tofu pudding rice
Is my only family local delicacies
Forty years away from My Hometown
Mount Cang &River Xi are what i miss most
Wishes a more gorgeous vernal scenery in the future
Picturesque Mount Cang&River Xi
All round with Green peaks, deep valleys and colorful clouds
Shining ripples on the lake anh blossom of flowers on the hillside
An abundant harvest of all food crops from the terraced fields
Crisscross footpaths between fields and cooking smoke
The long Jialing River is just a jade ribbon
Vast areas of pear flowers look like snowy sea
The towering Mount Cang sits above Jiulong
Steam water flows happily by Yuntai
Red Revolution Land
(one)
In the hot summer nineteen thirty-three
Red revolution flags flying everywhere in Mount Cang
Thousands of soldiers went to the front
At the cost of blood and life to obtain the political power
Unceasing roars of cannons at the foot of Mount White Crane
Won another victory at the top Mount Yanwo
Endless fighting round the clock at Yongningpu
The enemy was stoopped on the second line of defense
Mount Huangmaoya saw a battle of annihilation
Good tiding about great victories came from Siping
Divine troops suddenly appeared at Guangshan Hillside
The water was blood -Red in River Saotang
Over one hundred battles here in two years
More than thirty thousand soldier were buried here
Mountains and rivers were soaked with soldiers blood
Which has led to our present happy days
(Two)
In the warm spring nineteen thirty-five
At Taishan Bay on River Jialing
Ten thousand ambitious militaries fought across the river
Xu Xiangqian was the general commander
Soldiers were trained by River Wangdudong
Wood boats were built at Caijia Bund
Order were issued of a large variety of information at his disposal
Shooting warriors were rushing to the fore
Breaking through Zhaojiashan at one stroke
Good news from the front came to Yuanxi Ferry
The main force defeated the strong enemy at Jiaxi
Eight Temple sat stably at the top of Mount Dongyue
Sweeping the defeated enemy as if little drops of earth
Breaking defense works three kilommeter far over night
Red banners fluttered and songs of Victory sounded everywhere
(Three)
Recollecting the past at the Red Army Ferry
Missing the great man by the Jialing River Bank
Red revolutions took place among the Green mountains
Writing great and wonderful stoties in vast water
The first navy came into being here
Facing bravely the Long March
Spreading hopes along the west and to the north
Gathering at Xianjin then forcing to Yanan
Revolution precursor Li xiannian
Ashes were spread over Mount Cang after death
Recalling the heroes and martyrs with lofty ideals
Try our best to make congratulations to our Hometow
With a history of eighty years
Great changes have taken place
The Red Army's great feats will never be forgot
Inspiring the later generations marching forward
