今天繪本的題目是：「Adam's Car」 Adam 的車
今天是講4階中，Sparrows 麻雀系列 的第二本。這個分支的書共6本，在書的封面右下角有個標識，講的是穆斯林家庭 Yasmin 的一家。關於其他的鳥系列，我就不贅述了。開始今天的故事吧。

今天還是講 Yasmin 一家的故事。
The boy is Adam.
He is Yasmin's little brother.
封面上的這個男孩子叫作 Adam，它是 Yasmin 的弟弟。
He is playing his toy car.
他呀，正在玩他的玩具車。
In the thinking buble, There is Adam's imagination.
What's that?
Adam 一邊在玩玩具車，一邊在想什麼呢？
在他的 thinking buble 里，
他正在雪地里開著車呢。
He is racing in the snow in his car
So，What will happen in today's story?

Adam 有輛 新的 玩具車。
Adam was playing with his new car in the living room.
Adam 正在客廳里，玩他的新玩具車。

他在電視上看到一輛車。
It looked like his car.
它 看上去 很像 他的玩具車。
look 在這裡不是 「看」，而是 「看上去」 的意思
這裡的 like，也不是 「喜歡」，而是 「像」 的意思
電視里的那輛車，很像 Adam 的新玩具車。
What is the car on the television doing?
電視里的車子，正在做什麼呢？
Racing down a snowy slope.
它正滑下雪坡，滿是雪的斜坡。

他走到 麵粉 缸里 flour bin。
bin 就是有蓋子的大容器，
垃圾桶我們就說是 trash bin
He put flour on the car.
他把麵粉放到汽車上。
Why is Adam putting flour on the car?
Adam 為什麼把麵粉放在玩具汽車上呢？
To look like snow.
是為了讓它看上去像雪吧。

一不小心，車 掉進 了麵粉缸里。
He dropped the car.
drop 就是 「掉落」 的意思
車 掉進 了麵粉缸里。
"Oh no!"said Adam.
「哦，不！」 Adam說。

He couldn't find the car.
couldn't 不能夠
他找不到小汽車，
他沒找到小汽車。
Why could Adam not find his car?
為什麼找來找去都不到呢？
Because，It is lost in the flour.
因為它掉到了麵粉缸里去了。
那兒有太多的麵粉。
