Once there was a silly little duck who loved to swim in the lake.

從前，有一隻傻傻的小鴨子，他喜歡在湖中游泳。

He paddled and dabbled and splashed and dived all day long.

他一整天都在戲水、玩水、潛水。

But one day, gray clouds rolled in and the rain began to fall.

但是有一天，烏雲滾滾，開始下雨了。

「Quack!」 cried the little duck as he paddled for shore as fast as he could.

「嘎嘎！」小鴨子一邊大喊一邊盡他最大的速度划著。

「What’s the matter?」 called his friends.

「怎麼了？」他的朋友問道。

「It’s raining!」 said the silly little duck. 「I don』t want to get wet!」

「下雨了！」傻傻的小鴨子說。「我不想被淋濕！」
