這幾年音樂劇在內地演出市場有多火爆，已經不需要我們多著墨了。
作為舶來品的音樂劇，其 原味是如何？其現狀是如何？其未來將行何方？
在我們看來，除了大量的觀看劇目以外，直接和百老匯或西區的演員進行對話，也是必要的了解途徑。
因此，我們在旅居紐約的 Ava Zhou主理下，新設直播欄目《中西音樂劇演員對談》，每次邀請一位中方演員和外方演員一同進行交流。
第一期，我們邀請到了中國的劉陽和英國的邁克·D·澤維爾。
眼下正直疫情期間，雖然形勢日漸好轉，但是劇場仍未開門。所以，首期的主題：「疫情之下，我思我行」，聚焦在這個大變化之下，作為個體的中外音樂劇，在忙什麼呢，在想什麼，為接下來做哪些準備？

邁克·D· 澤維爾
邁克·D·澤維爾 （Michael D. Xavier），英國音樂劇、電影、電視三棲演員，曾獲兩度奧利弗獎提名。邁克曾出演音樂劇《羅馬假日》、《愛情故事》、《拜訪森林》、《劇院魅影》、《窈窕淑女》、《音樂之聲》、《你好，多莉！》、《俄克拉荷馬！》、《媽媽咪呀！》、《西貢小姐》等等。他於2017年在百老匯駐演《日落大道》中扮演男主角喬 (Joe), 並同年在百老匯不朽傳奇哈爾·普林斯導演的《百老匯的普林斯》(Prince of Broadway) 中出任男主角。他在2018年因為在全新音樂劇《羅馬假日》(Roman Holiday) 劇本朗讀會中飾演男主角記者喬(Joe) 而來到上海，被中國音樂劇迷熟知。
近期，邁克在BBC與HBO聯合製作電視劇《紳士傑克》(Gentleman Jack)中扮演史蒂芬·貝孔比醫生(Dr. Steph Belcombe)；他在電影《阿加莎與X之死》(Agatha And The Death Of X)中飾演馬克思·馬洛萬(Max Mallowan）；他是熱播美劇《古戰場傳奇》(Outlander) 中的諾克斯中尉(Lieutenant Knox)。他還是大熱美劇《罪惡黑名單》(The Blacklist) 第六季中飾演克里斯多福·邁爾斯(Christopher Miles)。

Most recently, Michael has been working on screen filming the roles of Dr. Steph Belcombe in Sally Wainwright’s Gentleman Jack (BBC/HBO) with Suranne Jones, Max Mallowan in feature Agatha And The Death Of X and the role of Lieutenant Knox in Outlander (Starz).
In 2017 Michael starred on Broadway playing the lead role of Joe in Sunset Boulevard opposite Hollywood film star Glenn Close shortly followed by a leading role in Prince of Broadway directed by the late, legendary Hal Prince and Susan Stroman.
Michael was nominated for 2 Olivier Awards in 2011; 『Best Supporting Performance in a Musical』 (Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince – Into The Woods at The Open Air Theatre) and 『Best Actor in a Musical』 (Oliver – Love Story at The Duchess Theatre & Chichester Festival Theatre).

劉 陽
演員，導演，音樂指導。在開始表演工作之前，曾任職於北京大學歌劇研究院, 以及歷任北京大學學生合唱團指揮。
2011年，在Gale Edwards執導的《海棠·秀》擔任男主角，開始在音樂劇舞台上嶄露頭角。2013年在音樂劇《Q大道》中飾演清華/羅羅而被戲劇觀眾們熟知。2015年，在音樂劇《我，堂吉訶德》中成功地飾演了堂吉訶德/塞萬提斯，在公演2年多的時間裡，獲得了大量好評和獎項。2018年在迪士尼音樂劇《美女與野獸》中飾演加斯頓，再度獲得各方好評和關注。
近年來以戲劇工作者的身份與一系列國外表演藝術家進行過採訪和對談，包括德國演員Uwe Kröger, 俄國演員Igor Krol，英國舞者Dominic North，Will Bozier等等。

Kain is an actor, also a director and music director. Before starting his career in performing art, he used to teach in the Academy of Opera of Peking University, and worked as the conductor of the University Chorus.
In 2011, he was casted in 「Spiral Show」 directed by Gale Edwards, and started focusing on his acting career since then. 2013, He took the role Princeton/Rod in the Mandarin Production of 「Avenue Q」, which was a exciting introduction for him to Chinese theatre audience. Two years later his performance as Cervantes/Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha was a big success. The show had been ruling for more than 2 years, bringing him a multitude of good reviews and awards. In 2018 he started working in Disney Musical Beauty and the Beast, in the role of Gaston. Once again his performance drew great attention also received great reviews.
Recently, as a local performing artist, he has been invited to host interviews and talking events with a series of prestige performing artists abroad, such as German actor Uwe Kröger, Russian actor Igor Krol, British Dancer Dominic North and Will Bozier.
