當你在國外銀行取錢，
或者是線下刷卡支付的時候，
櫃檯職員提醒你輸入密碼，
並不會用password這個詞，
取而代之的是pin：
Your PIN number，please.
pin /pɪn/
沒錯，我們所說的「銀行卡密碼」可不是password，而是PIN number，PIN是什麼鬼?這兩者又有什麼區別呢?
PIN
我們設置的密碼一般情況下有三種，分別是
identification
general
cipher
在密碼學上，它們的意思是「純數字」「組合碼」「碼中碼」，
對於純數字這種，英語中稱之為PIN number，PIN是一個英文縮寫，全稱是personal identification number，也叫「個人身份識別碼」。
比方說像銀行卡密碼，SIM卡密碼等，只有數字，不包含字母和特殊符號。
舉個例子：
You can open several accounts in one book and set a sole pin number for your deposit book.
您可以在一個存摺上開立幾個定期帳戶，並設置唯一密碼。
Password
而password一般是指「口令」或者網絡帳號的密碼，它通常與user name(用戶名)連在一起。
這種「載體不限」的密碼，就是我們通常說的password
它可以是指紋，可以是數字或圖案，就連「人臉識別」「聲波識別」也是password的一種。
用蘋果手機的小夥伴可能更容易感受到兩者的不同：
如圖，解鎖時，需要輸入的就是PIN，而在App store消費的時候，需要輸入的，則是password.

ATM操作相關詞彙

這個用來輸入密碼的東西叫作keypad。當你準備好了，就按enter(回車)鍵。如果輸錯了，就按clear。

銀行卡可以叫作bank card或者debit card(借記卡)。這裡以借記卡為例，現在第一步是我們需要把卡插入ATM機。

Then we』re going to see a screen that looks like this. Look at all these options here. So here we have cash withdrawal.
