As I set foot on the enchanting island of Lanta, my heart brimmed with anticipation. The lavish greenery and tranquil ambiance of the Rawi Warin Resort welcomed me, offering a choice between standalone villas, beachfront suites, and pool access rooms—all nestled in the embrace of a tropical rainforest by the sea.
Little did I know that my arrival coincided with the spectacular Lantern Festival, an annual extravaganza hosted by Rawi Warin in the heart of November. This Thai festival of love and connection unfolded against the backdrop of the island's natural beauty, where romantic tales flourished and participants united in releasing lanterns to carry their wishes into the distance.
