該項目坐落在秋津市的一座小島上，是一棟坐擁瀨戶內海美景的私人住宅。在項目建造的過程中，最有意思的挑戰莫過於如何創造一個集安靜舒適和開放性為一體的室內空間。設計師設置了兩個互相交叉的正方體，並思考如何在牆體結構和開口之間形成良好的平衡。

因為起居室和臥室之間採用了躍層結構，房屋內部的線條變得更為流暢。起居室和廚房地板的拋光混凝土飾面通過反射作用給房間內帶來了更加充足的光線。為了打造一個私密且舒適的環境，房屋首層被稍加遮蓋，天花板也設置得比起居室的更低。

房間內有一個造型獨特的混凝土螺旋樓梯。為了避免在室內出現類似承重柱的設計，樓梯支撐板的視覺厚度幾乎可以忽略不計。 如此一來，樓梯的中心軸便僅為一條完美的直線。
Here resides a very special concrete spiral staircase. The thickness of the supporting slab becomes invisible to its outer and inner end and it was designed in order to avoid any necessity of a central pillar. In this way from its central axe only a perfect straight line appears.
